IFT18 Recap: Where Science, Food, and SoPure Meet
This year’s IFT18 Annual Meeting & Food Expo was yet another spectacular industry event and exhibition of the latest in food and science. With over 23,000 attendees and 1,200 exhibitors, the SoPure and Nascent Health teams were there on hand to showcase our newest stevia formulations and products.
Just in time for these hot summer months, we unveiled our newest beverage demo, Cold Brewed Coffee! With all the conference attendees eager to taste test our coffee throughout all three days, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the consent was unanimous — they could not taste that the beverage was sweetened with stevia, no sugar. This was a testament to our formulation team for developing the perfect recipe to replicate the flavor of sugar sweetened coffee using only stevia. It’s a resounding affirmation that our next-generation stevia extracts pass the test live and in real time!
In addition to the coffee, we also showcased a variety of dried goods including nut clusters, cookies and granola bars. In a perhaps not-so-surprising victory, nut clusters came out on top in popularity among conference goers. It’s a fitting reflection of consumer tastes trending towards items that occupy a happy medium between taste (cookies) and healthiness (granola bars).
With every passing year, we continue to receive more recognition and positive feedback from attendees, suppliers and clients regarding our portfolio of products.
